Starbucks announced that it will lay off a number of workers employed in its customer service center in Seattle.
The exact number of employees who will be fired was not disclosed, but Starbucks representatives said that it is only a small fraction of the customer service center's 120-something employees. Starbucks also did not announce if it will be outsourcing its customer service arm.
