I am proud to have not set food in a Walmart store for over 5 years!I was shocked to see this article in MSN Money Central and see that the price for Milk was the highest at Walmart: In a recent price check near her home in Atlanta, for example, Nelson found a gallon of skim milk cost $2.69 at an Aldi discount market, $2.99 at Costco, $3.99 at her local supermarket and $4.49 at Wal-Mart. How to saving money buying milk. Obviously the answer is don't shop at Walmart for Milk (or anything else for that matter)! Incidentally, in Uruguay whole milk is 13 pesos a liter. A liter is 0.264 gallons so there are 3.788 liters in a gallon, or a gallon of Milk in Uruguay would cost 3.788 x 13 pesos = 49.24 pesos / 19 = or US$2.47 a gallon or almost half the price of Walmart's milk! All of that said, Milk is disgusting and I wouldn't drink it if you paid me too.
